NVD Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The 2017 NVD (Napa Valley Designate) Cabernet Sauvignon consists of fruit from 3 separate vineyard sites in Pritchard Hill, Calistoga, and from our own Howell Mountain estate. The NVD Cabernet Sauvignon is quite different from our Estate Red. It is not created as a second wine or an afterthought, but meant to stand out on its own accord. It is made in the same way as our Estate Red. Each lot is vinified using only French oak and aged separately until the final blending. Total barrel aging is 22 months, with an additional year in bottle before release.
