Benevolent Neglect

Established by east coast boys, Ben Brenner and Matt Nagy who have made California their home. The company was established on a whim when they were fortunate to be offered some Syrah from the infamous Las Madres vineyard in 2013. Matt had previously produced 11 100-point wines at Maybach, whilst Ben works at Rutherford Wine Co. As the name suggests, they work with as little intervention as possible, farming with great care, and working in the cellar with a 100% transparent policy. Getting their hands on the best fruit they can, and doing as little to it as possible!
